2 of Dec camp cards

Well isnt this snowman just the cutest? We used the top note die cut for both the hat and face, star punch using just one point of it, circle punches and the flower punch.
Again we used the top note die. It is hard to see but we put brads into the stars on the tree.

swap cards from Nov camp

This bear card was made by Monica. I had to take a close up because the camera does not do it justice. Lots of detail like all of her cards. Thanks for a great card Monica

These are all the swap cards that the November campers made. Nice job ladies

Cards from friends

This card is from Becky. It is a slider card and is puffed up using dimensionals (puff dots) and 2 pennies. Yes we are going to be doing a slider card in camp soon. Becky always makes cards out of the box and I always love them. Thanks for sharing Becky

This card is from Carol. The cute little turtle is watercolored . Nice shading Carol. She also embossed the pattern in yellow with clear embossing paper. Thanks for the cute card.

Special gifts

The cards are hard to see but I used punches, stickers, designer paper and ribbon to make each one different. Double click to see a larger image.

These are gifts I made for a few people. I hope they like them. They are a tin of 3x3 cards to add to gift bags or use when you just need something small. Here is where I used that blue glittered
star. Each comes in a tin that can be reused and tied with our Holiday ribbon with a snowman tag.

Handsome new UPS man

All packages must be approved by the Art department

Meet Logan our new UPS man. Isnt he a handsome one? He is very serious about his job and has big muscles. Here you see him doing his offical butt check to see if packages can with stand 35 lbs of pressure.
Here is the label checking department.

Lets do a bit of sorting for the climbing test.

It has to be stacked just right.
So getting packages at our house is always a good time for these 2.

Punch happy

Hi again. You all know how I love my punches..... Here is an idea that I saw on 2 different demonstrators blogs. I put them together and it looks kind of neat. I used up some designer paper again and punch out squares. Then I used the scallop square to layer them. For the flower I used the scallop punch and snipped each petal. After that I snipped each petal in half. I sponged it with a little choc chip and then curled up the edges. I then added layers of circle punches and a button to make the middle. How cute is that. This is one of the cards for the upcoming camp but I made it using greens and reds.

Glitter Time

Hello again. Sorry it has been so long.. Who put this month on fast forward? geez. I have been busy stamping but have not had a chance to upload anything. These are some stars I was working on. They are hard to see but there is also glitter on the designer paper layer as well. I just punched out some paper and layered with dimensionals. The blue stars I just punched out the small star first then the large one to make the open look. I then covered it with the 2 way glue and used the dazzling diamonds to coat it. It keeps the color since the dust is so fine.
I will show you later what projecte they turned up on.
Happy punching.

Sherbert card

Hi. Sorry it has been a while since I have posted. Where does the time go? I made this card using the sherbert designer paper and our circle cutter. I just cut the 2 partial circles and layered them. I then added a circle of apricot appeal and a clear button.
Till next time.

Halloween pics of Dan and I

Happy Halloween. Dan and I dress up every year for work. Dan is Joe from McKrackin Plumbing. I am Super Mom. Dan has his very own plunger and I have to keep
him out of the bathroom now so he wont play in there. It is hard to see in the picture but I have a sock, dryer sheet and some reminder notes on my back....On the front I have all 4 kids pictures, my bottle brush cleaner, duster, wisk and my shopping list. My friend Kim found these gold shiny tight as sin pants... I like to call them my "SHAZAM" pants. Joe the plumber kept oogling me. Maybe he should be more concerned about keeping his shirt down and his butt crack hidden. haha. I will take some pictures of the kids tonight when they trick or treat.
Till next time.

Crazy Hair day

Now for those of you who have met my tiny Rebecca.... you all know she has the biggest hair. Well for crazy hair day I used some freeze spray that my fellow Queen Rose recommended. It is called Got to be Glued. Cool stuff. So I had her brush it upside down and I sprayed on the glue. WOW... she would have been great in the 80's. I probably could have gotten it a bit bigger but at 6am and trying to get out of the house on time.. that is what she got. It was windy this am but I dont think she will have a problem because that hair is not going to move :) 73 lb girl with 10 lb Queen wanna be hair.

Organizing new stamp area

Hello again. Here is a picture of my new stamp area. I got a nice sturdy table that came with just 2 benches. So I tucked one under the other side and pushed the table against the wall. I put my 2 paper sorters on top. I then decided to double up my paper colors and re-label them. I was then able to pull out some of the other dividers to make room for my blue containers that were on sale at the end of the year. I have them all labeled too. Some with adhesives, spots, glues, mini notebooks and 1 for my need at my fingertip items.... like my snipit scissors, calculator, pen, tweezers.... stuff like that. I also had to sort my past In colors. I was getting the reds mixed up. So now I have one slot for each group. I also saved 1 slot for my current project. Right now it has the 3 cards for my upcoming Holiday camp and my little spider peppermint that I need to make friends for. So there is always more to organize but I like how it is coming along. Now if I can keep Logan from taking my graph paper to color on... sigh.
So if you are looking to get organized... just take it one section at a time. Till next time.... Happy Stamping.

Not like the others

I just had to add this pic of Logan and Dan honking noses. Logan thought he was pretty good at it.

Hi again, I got this notebook at work and it looked just like everyone elses in the meeting room... so what to do.... heck why not stamp it. My cube neighbor said that if it turned out cute that she wanted me to do one for her too. So I took it home and took about 10 minutes to change it up. Now I go to meetings with my notebook full of foof and it does not look like anyone elses :)

I did make a cute thank you card for Bea and Al for a gift they gave me but do you think I could remember to take a pic... of course not. I will have to go to Beas and take a pic of it.

Just a reminder.... the all Holiday card camp is Nov 14th and 16th. Make 15 cards using 3 designs for $20. Let me know if you want to attend and bring a guest. $5 off camp for every guest you bring who has not been to one of my camps before :)

Till next time... Happy Stamping

More misc cards

Hi. Ok so I should have taken this card pic the other way. Thought I could flip him around. Guess not. I made 2 of these cards. One for the maker of my Al sticks... Al himself. The other is for a co worker. They both have Birthdays on Sat. Happy Birthday to them. It is hard to tell from the pic but he is Mellow Moss on Night of Navy cardstock.

This card is for Dan's boss (my friend Kim) for Boss's Day. I used the Eastern blooms flower in the new pink on the same color card stock. I then use the top note die for the Big Shot and then put it thru the Cuttlebug for texture. It is layered onto Always Artichoke cs.

I took the Owl one from camp and dressed him up abit. I put the black and the light brown thru the cuttlebug to give him a bit of texture. I also use the spiral punch to decorate up the edges.
Dont forget about the November 14/16 camp for 15 Christmas cards for $20. Classes are filling up so let me know if you want to join.
Till next time.... Happy Stamping

Oct camp cards

These are the rest of the cards from camp. The Owl card is done using the big shot die called top note. See the last couple of pages of your holiday mini. As you can see I used the new scallop square punch for 2 of the cards. I am digging that punch. I also love the Eastern Bloom set. It looks good in any color. And we cant forget little Rudolph. He is a level 2 hostess set. He can be earned by hosting a party and getting to the level 2 in sales. Ask for more details.
I host a monthly camp at my home but am always up for a regular party at your house with your friends. Stamps travel well :) A home party is fun and simple. I do some demos and then the group does a make and take or two. Anyone can stamp and I would love to teach others that you might know.
Till next time... Happy stamping

Swap cards from Oct camp

Hello again. Here are the swap cards for Oct. Some chose to swap more than one card. The idea is to bring a card made with SU items and I swap out 1 for 1. That way you get an idea from someone else. Sorry the pictures done capture the detail of Cuttlebug or embossing like a couple of the cards had... but... still.... Great job ladies

Girls Weekend 2008

This is Castle of Spring Green. The hideout of the Queens for 2008. 8 rooms, 5.5 bathrooms and lots of stone and wood. Fantabulous.... This view is from the side standing on the driveway

This view is from the front. Bedrooms upstairs and the dining area and open great room are the windows downstairs. That is lots of Windex I tell you. Not a lick of material hanging from any of the windows.....

This is the offical Girls Weekend flag. We found these giant bloomers at a craft fair in 2005. Those who were in attendance that year signed..... That is my attempt at lips at the bottom. haha. GW was established in 1994 but I have only been going for 11 years.... Those ladies did some roughing it in the early years and I will gladly pass on water bag showers, bears in the woods and outhouses... not for me. So I started going thanks to the invitation from my great friend Jane Jenkins and dont have any plans to miss any of them. See Ms Jane below with that "I am on Girls Weekend" grin on her face. Next to her is Ms Patty. It was like traveling with Paula Deen. Just wanted her to talk just to listen to her accent. She fit well into the Queen circle.

The next 2 pictures are of the great room where we spent most of our time. Eating, drinking, chatting, lauging, playing games and building fires. We did a lot of get to know you games and those usually had funny stories to go along with them. I will post more pictures up later. Thanks for looking.
