Cute dresses.

These cute dresses are made from the large scallop Big Shot Die. Yes you can also use it in your cuttlebug. I cut the scallop circle out and then used a template that I cut out of white cardstock. Just by changing the designer paper and ribbon, it gives the dress a different look. Looovvvveee It. This idea first came from a very talented stamper Patty Bennett. Thanks for sharing Patty.
Stampcampers... you might just see this at camp on a card wink wink...

Cards from this past week

This was a cute card to make. It is a mini version of the onsie cards that seem to be on several sites. I thought to myself.. I can make that smaller and here is how it turned out. The onsie is also using a cuttlebug folder for texture. aaww so cute. The stamp is from the under $10 page in the back of the catalog.
This is a card I did using the cupcake die. You can do the frosting and bottom in different papers to give it a totally different look. This was for a co-worker.

This was more like a large tag card for little Riley. Her Birthday was today.
Hope you like these cards. Till next time .... Happy Stamping

Thanks for the Yogurt Parfaits..... card

Ok so the story goes like this..... At work in our cafe they make these yummy large yogurt parfaits... only in spring and summer. They have vanilla yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and granola. If you dont get to the cafe early enough you are out of luck.. they go fast and they only make so many each day. Dan and I get one every morning and harrass Gary the cafe boss about when they are making them in the early spring. So last week I didnt get into there until about 815 because Dan was not in work that day and my am routine was thrown off... sorry I digress.. so I went into the cafe later and OMG they were all gone. sniff sniff. I had to get pancakes instead. bummer.. so I happen to see Gary at the copier and I sniffed and said... I missed the parfaits this am.. that will teach me to wait to go get one. He laughed and we parted ways. about 20 minutes later he shows up at my desk with 2 mini parfaits and spoons. I think he thought Dan was there. aawww free parfaits in tiny little cups. Of course I ate Dans too :) It was so sweet of Gary so I made him this card.. I did draw in the parfait but I think he will get the gist. Simple and fast card just to say Thanks.

May camp cards

This first card is using a template that I got out of our Stampin Up publication. It is hard to see but there is a line around the white that is done using the piercing tool. To make the scallop frame I punched out a square and then did the scallop square over it. TaDa.. scallop frame.

This cute card I saw on a blog. I am sorry I dont have the name If I find it again I will add it. I changed it up a bit using different stamps and I did the "fake" bow which is just stuck on the ribbon strip.

This one is kind of hard to see. I used Vellum Cardstock (not vellum paper) and the embossing folder Manhattan flower. It makes a striking difference to the cardstock in person. I hope to do more with this heavy weight vellum soon.

This card also came from an idea in our SU publication. They love to give us ideas to use in our own workshops. You will see this set again I am sure. Fifth Avenue Floral... not a big flower stamp person but I really like how you can layer these flowers.

This card is using our simple flower embosslit. It embosses and cuts out all in one swipe in the Big shot. (yes it works in Cuttlebug too) Enlarge picture to see flower detail cute. The leaves are from the 5 petal flower punch and then make each point into a leaf. Simple enough. So that is what went down at camp. Hope you enjoyed looking and stamping.
Till next time. Happy Stamping

Misc cards with some using Rubons

This card is using the Top note again :) with the Thoughts and Prayers set. I just love that tree.

This card is the first of a few using the Bright Delights rubons. I just love them because they are in color and the owls are the cutest.

This is the card I made for Bea's hubby Al "Owl" (that is what Jenna and Logan call him) He makes my "owl" stick which are wood bone folders polished out, sealed and an Owl is stamped on them using Stazon ink. I give one of these to each of my new campers. So I thought this card was fitting for him.
This is the card I made for Dan to sneak into his suitcase on his last trip. the 143 stands for I (1) Love (4) you (3)

This one is a bit hard to see but it says delight. I need to work on lighting. The trees at the bottom are green and yellow.

This card reminded me of Jenna.. Ms Sassy. Especially with her new short haircut. She just donated 10 inches to locks of love. All that orange curly hair is gone and she has a cute bob.

This card might show up at camp "wink" It is using the Fifth Avenue Floral. I just love this card. I made a set of these for my friend Chris for her Birthday.

This was the card I made for Chris's Birthday. It looks like a present. The background is cuttlebugged for extra texture.
Hope you like the cards. Till next time.
