Convention samples.. they just keep showing up :)

I just love the trees made with circles. It is not the scallop punch. It is actually one of the die cuts. It is embossed on white so it makes the colors pop. cute cute.

Hostess gifts August

Hello ladies.

I am going to start taking pictures of what my hostesses earn for their monthly club. If you are not in the monthly club you can still be a hostess and get lots of free goodies from Stampin Up.

So Carol was the hostess for the Aug club and this is all that she earned...
1 Level I and 1 Level 3 Hostess sets, 2 large sets and a set of Filigree (flowered) Brads.
So if you know anyone who would like to have me come to there house and share a bit of stamping just let me know.
till then... Happy Stamping.

Stampin Up partners with Build A Bear. Convention 09

Welcome to the Build A Bear workshop partnered by Stampin UP. They have made exclusive Dies and stamp sets just for us. Just wait till I get my hands on these little babies. At convention I won one of the prize patrols and I got a stamp set and card/envelope set.. but I traded my nice roommate Ali for her prize patrol which was the Bear stamp set, the Bear words and the designer paper. Stay tuned. This is all available in the new mini. Soon to hit your mailbox. Available for order Sept 1st.
I will be planning a Build A Bear workshop soon to make these cute little critters.

This was the sweet Build A Bear available to convention attendees... She is stinkin cute. I named her Sweetpea the bear. She comes with her own stamp, a cute SU apron, the new IN color ribbon in her hair and the official SU logo on her paw. SO cute.
This picture shows each of the dies and what it cuts out. You can change up the color of the bear to make light to dark brown or even black or white. How cute is that?

The die cuts allow you to use fabric, magnets and and cardstock to make different types of outfits.

Here is a sample of the stamped bear image and then one of the dressed die cut ones.

Here is the same thing but the little girl bear.

Now how cute are these little bears dressed in their Halloween best? I have also seen how to do a bear in a tux and in PJ's. There is another die to make Christmas outfits. Just cant wait to get started on this.

SU Convention 2009

This was super cute Halloween treat container made from the Designer paper.

These are a bit hard to see but they are made out of fabric scraps using the Flower Folds Big Shot died. They are layered and then a vintage button added in the middle to make a broach. Super cute. Shelly is so talented.
This lamp shade is made using the same big Shot die but it is using cardstock. Very cute to personalize a bedroom

This was the Momento Mall. SU logo product that they made for Convention. Looks like a huge room and it is.. but the line to check out was long. and the line to get in was even longer. We waited an hour and a half and that was about half the time that others waited. We all chatted and swapped cards in line. I swapped 200 of mine. I got back tons of really nice swaps to be cased.
This is the part of the line that winds back and forth like at Great America. Back and forth and back and forth. haha Lots of tired feet after that line. We are at the door waiting to get in this pic.
This was the line BEFORE the back and forth line. whew.. good thing I brought snacks.
