October camp card preview

Hello
This is one of the cards we are making at the October stamp camp. It uses several punches but is super simple. the scallop part is done with the new scallop edge.. how you say? Come to class and I will show you. Maybe I will put together a couple of pictures so you can see how it is done after camp.
Can you believe it is October already? Well Girls weekend is this Friday so I am not complaining that it is Fall already. If you want to see where the Queens are going this year... click on this link http://www.springgreencastle.com/index.html
Can you say "fabulous"? 17 queens, lots of food, wine, laughing and tons of relaxation.... oh and lots of quiet....... ssshhh
I will share a pic or 2 when I get back.

Apple Pickin'

Here are the kids at the apple orchard. Logan is content with picking the one apple then eating that the whole time we pick the others. Missed having Josh in the pictures but he was out of town. (independent adult now :) )

Getting punchy with Punch templates

Hi. Currently I have this one sheet template that has all my punches punched all along the outside edges. Well you all know how much I love my punches so guess what happened??? I ran out of room on that one sheet. So I decided to make them up this way. I saw this idea about a year ago or so in a similar idea so this is what I came up with. I will label each one and I can always add to it. It is great to be able to go thru the catty and find out which punch works for different things. Helps when you want to think outside of the box.... or punch.. haha
I do believe we will be using the one punch shown on the catty above for the next camp.... hint hint.
TIP: use your punches to use up scraps of regular cardstock and even your designer papers.
Make sure you check out my Stampin up website for camp dates. My link is on this site up in the far left corner. And remember... $5 off your camp fee if you bring a new stamping buddy.
Till next time.... Happy Stamping

Designer paper organizer

Hello again. This is a simple idea I saw from another demonstrator recently to show off samples of the Designer paper. I used the large tag punch to take a sample of each pattern. I then used chocolate chip to divide each set. I then punched a hole using the cropadile and put the ring thru. I will put some labels on them so I know what set they go to.
Till next time. .... Next post will be a neat little idea for the punch template. A remake of the one sheet type that I have now.

Anniversary Card

Good morning. This card was made for Bea and Al for their Anniversary. Happy 20th Bea and Al. Or "Owl" as Jenna calls him. I used Bravo Burgundy, Rose Red and Regal Rose. It is hard to see but the card itself is Burgundy. Not a lot of natural light at night :)
Till next time... happy stamping.

Wild Wednesday

Hello, I was playing with some paper and got a little wild mixing patterns. Ok so I know when you dress yourself you say... dont wear polkadots with stripes.... but who says you have to have the same rules for a card? Why not jump outside of your pattern box and mix and match our great Designer Papers. This card is made from the Rainbow Sherbert selection. It is a bit on the wild side but it definately is fun. I also used the flower from the Eastern Blooms set (on sale till Sept 30th) and some dimensionals to make it pop up.

So take a look at our papers and live a little on the wild side. Till next time.. Happy Stamping

Card Swap

Hello again,

At our last stamp camp we did our first swap amongst the group. I only took a few pictures.... didnt think about it until a few of the ladies left. So this was one that is being sent out to another member. The card was made by Phyllis. Great job Phyllis and you know you make points from me by using a punch. hahaha So to all the other campers... great job and I sure hope you participate again at the Oct camp. You all are great stampers so dont feel like you dont measure up. If you want to participate, send me a card and I will swap at the Sunday camp.
Till tomorrow... happy stamping

Fly Mosqitos Fly- Sept. Camp samples

Hello again. This is card # 4 from Sept stamp camp. I just got a mosquito bite the other nite.. need my giant can of skeeter spray like Mr Bear has. I swear that bug was as big as the one on the card. haha. We used chalks to color this card.

This is card # 5 from stamp camp. I just love that Tangerine and Pacific blue. This card uses the knot technique where you make a knot and then wrap the ribbon ends around the back of the card stock. The flowers are from the Eastern Bloom set. I think that big flower looks good in any color. Wait till you see the sample that I have for next camp. pretty pretty.

First day of school

Sept 2nd first day of school. Rebecca is the big 7th grader and Jenna is the big Kindergartener.

Today is day 3 so lets see if they manage to get Jenna to the right bus
stop. The first day she was in a completely different sub division and she told the bus driver... This is not my stop and would not get off the bus. Good girl.... So day 2 they manage to get her on the correct bus but drop her off at the wrong end of our street so the person who was waiting for her was not there.... they were at the other stop. Luckily the girl acrossed the street walked her up the street so all is ok. So today is the big test. I said now dont make me pin a note to her saying.... Please drop me off at .... hahaha
Yes that is Ms Molly waiting at the bus stop with Dan and Jenna. Hey a dog has to get in a few steps too.
Till next time.
